Touri* in the mass form as we know it today is a distinctly twentieth-century phenomenon. 选项中的mass touri*与原文中的touri* in the mass form是同义替换。
2. 选i。 Touri* today has grown significantly in both economic and social importance.
However, the major problems of the travel and touri* industry that have hidden or obscured its economic impact are the diversity and fragmentation of the industry itself.
Once the exclusive province of the wealthy, travel and touri* have become an institutionalised way of life for most of the population. 选项中的world, impact替换原文的most of the population, institutionalised。

However, the major problems of the travel and touri* industry that have hidden, or obscured its economic impact, are the diversity and fragmentation of the industry itself. 题目中的two main features指代原文的diversity and fragmentation。

24,信息点是倒数第三段的第一行,“making a rapid emotional asses*ent of the events of the moment is an extremely demanding job for the brain.” 其中,extremely demanding job for the brain=题目中的one of the brain's most difficult tasks;而making a rapid emotional asses*ent of the events=选项C respond instantly to whatever is happening.
所以24题选C;
25,信息点在倒数第二段的第二行,“but humans, who have developed a much more complicated internal life as a result of language, respond emotionally not only to their surroundings, but to their own thoughts.” 这个句子的前半部分等于题干,而respond to their own thoughts=选项A react to their own thoughts.
26,信息点是倒数第二段的最后一句,“Whether a joke gives pleasure or pain depends on a person's outlook(观点)” 这里的joke=题干中的humour,depends on约等于选项F中的relate to,a person's outlook=选项F中的a person's subjectiveig views.
所以26选F
27,信息点是最后一段第二行,Peter Derks说的这段话, 从倒数第二行看起“If we can figure out how the mind processes humour, then we'll have a pretty good handle on how it works in general.

forcus, mainly, language.

and illustrated their meanings with some 114,000 quotations drawn from the Elizabethans to his own time.

而后面有treat english very practically, as a living language.
