江阴英语培训雅思 如何在中国境内参加ACT考试

我以前托福考了三次，大小培训班读了有半年多，90分大关始终不到，去年夏天锦程教育的三个老师带了我一个月，8月在苏州大学终于考到了106，口语和作文一共提高了14分，都要出国读书了，没有多少时间陪伴父母了，根本不想去外地上课。

上海锦程教育 在江阴的分校在移动公司边上的汇富广场 ，课程是全日制*课程，从早到晚密集培训。托福、雅思和SAT都有的。老师真的好负责，多晚了作业都会改好，每周一次的学习动态分析。只要我们自己有目标，再加上这么好的教学和监督，努力一定有回报的。

托福学习技巧：

1，分开多次，抗遗忘。

比如三餐饭前给自己半小时复习每天的词汇。每天的早上起床和临睡前，也都是记忆的黄金时间，大家可以*自己的词汇小卡片(听力部分的词汇记忆也同理)，用这些固定的时间段来温习当日背过的单词。

方法是：遮着汉语，看着英文翻译中文释义，这可以确保你辨识词义；或者遮住英文，看着中文的意思往回翻译，这样可以让你记得更加清楚。掌握了拼写之后，一些高频词就可以转换成你的写作词汇。

2，利用音频，加深记忆。

一般的单词书都有相应的音频，大家可拷到*或者IPAD，每天利用零散时间来记忆。单词的声音*，可以帮助大家在托福听力中更好地识别词汇。

在这里强调一下，大家在最开始背单词时，容易陷入一种误区，就是不看音标，凭想象发音，总感觉这些单词只要在阅读中认识就达到了终极目标，但大家忘记了我们的托福考试，还有很重要的一项考试是托福口语，大多数学生只掌握了单词的拼写。

比如illustrate和renovate，很多同学都认识，但重音位置是错的。所以建议大家，从最初背单词开始，就注意发音，不确定的发音一定要去查询一下再背诵。这样一举多得，一些背诵下来的词汇也就顺理成章的成为了我们的托福口语合格词汇。(口语的task4 & task6有很多学术词汇)。

3，通过阅读语境去练习。

纯粹的单词背诵，速度会很快，但大家会遇到一个问题，就是不知道这些单词的正确用法。这时，你就需要结合语境，在上下文中去理解词汇的含义。

英语词汇的含义往往都很灵活，在具体的context(上下文)中，大家会对词汇的collocation(搭配)， connotation(言外之意)有更深的理解，这样在自己输出时，比如托福的口语和写作环节，你才能将英文词汇使用地更加地道和得心应手。

什么是ACT考试

ACT考试与SAT考试均被称为“美国高考”，它们既是美国大学的入学条件之一，又是大学发放奖学金的主要依据之一及对学生综合能力的测试标准。和SAT不同，ACT考试更像一种学科考试，它更强调考生对课程知识的掌握，同时也考虑到了对考生独立思考和判断能力的测试。从难度上看，ACT考试比SAT更容易一些，尤其对中国的考生来说，选择ACT考试可能更容易在短期内获得相对满意的成绩。笔者对ACT和SAT两种考试进行了简单比较，具体的差异可以由如下表格表现出来：

为什么高中生留学要考ACT

在美国，ACT和SAT都作为大学录取新生的重要依据而颇受高中生重视。如果高中生要申请美国前50位的顶尖大学，除了要求学生提供托福成绩或者雅思成绩等语言考试成绩外，90％以上的美国顶尖名校会要求参考学生的SAT或ACT成绩，而且成绩的高低是决定学生能否得到奖学金的重要参考。在过去，由于SAT设立时间早，在美国被稍多的大学认可，而ACT主要在美国中西部的大学中流行。但是，近年来，高速发展的ACT考试已经在美国著名高校中获得承认，其中也包括哈佛、耶鲁这样的顶级名校。在哈佛大学2004年入学的新生中，递交ACT考分的申请者占1/5，这个比例和五年前是相近的。但是ACT和SAT考试所影响的地域已经开始模糊化了。“我们是完全以同等的姿态接受ACT和SAT考试分数的，”哈佛大学的入学主管William Fitzsimmons 明确表示。由此可见，ACT考试正在逐渐得到美国大学的青睐。

ACT考试地点、时间：

由于SAT考试在大陆都暂时没有公开的考点，所以考生可以选择香港的考点参加考试。ACT考试每年举行5次，具体时间分别是2月中、4月中、6月初、10月底和12月初。据ACT考试的主办方负责人透露，为了在中国进行ACT考试的推广，ACT方面已经在中国的一些大城市设置了教学考试中心。并将在年内在国内的北京、上海、成都、广州等城市设置相关的考场，为考生参加ACT考试提供更大的便利。
