You had requested the receptionist to wake you up early, but he/she failed to do so. Write a letter to hotel manager about the inconvenience caused to you.
In your letter, you should tell:
- wwhy you had requested to wake up early
- what the inconvenience caused was
- what the hotel should do to avoid it.
Dear Sir,
I am writing to complain to you about the inconvenience that I have had faced at your hotel due to the negligence as a part of the receptionist.
Last weekdays, I had paid a visit to New South Wales for a work-related conference of three days. I stayed at your hotel for the entire days. However, on the last day, I have to attend a dialogue in the morning. Therefore, I just requested the receptionist beforehand, to wake me up as early as possible.
Unfortunately, I did not receive any morning call by your staff and had failed to attend the meeting. The meeting was quite crucial with some overseas clients for the first time, although related to my promotion. I really felt very sad afterward. Moreover, the receptionist was arguing with me that he has no fault in this case and did not ready to apologize for the same. Certainly, it was a terrible experience.
Nevertheless, I would like to recommend you to take care of the guests alongside giving them wake-up calls in the morning. It should be the duty of the front desk agent to give the morning call to curtail any kind of inconvenience.
Take this matter into your consideration.
Yours faithfully,
Douglas woods
