2021-06-29 : Task 2Sending criminals to prison is not the best method of dealing with them. Education and job training are better ways to help them. Do you agree or disagree?
“Do not hate the criminals, hate the crime.” Crime is escalating at alarming rate and to mitigate this wrost problem, it is said that put the accused in cells is not the right way of treating them rather education and job training are appropriate method to assist them. I totally agree with this and I am going to illuminate my personal notion in upcoming paragraphs.
To commence with the first and foremost cause that why mere imprisonment is not the best way, insted education is that education has the power to make any person more sincere, polite, honest and good citizens because mostly crimes are done by illetrate people who donot have knowledge. To support view, survay conducted in recent years in India proved that majority of crimes are done due to lack of education among people which is common for them to get in contact with wrong views, wrong people. Secondly, education enlighten up their life as they will be able to earn respect from society on basis of qualification which halt them to join bad company.
Adding more weightage, job training can also act as miracle in order to minimise crime. If criminal have provided job training then they can earn the money which enables them to lead a better life as their basic needs will be satisfied and it implies they donot commit crime. Also, more crime are committed die to the reasons of poverty and unemployment but only keeping them in prison will destroy their life and it will be loss to nation if younger people are sent to imprison.
To sum up, I think sending criminals to prison can ruin their life on the other hand education and job training will be beneficial for both offenders and government.
