Do people like comedy?

Yes, most people do. Comedies make us laugh and forget about our worries at least for the length of the film. Ifs a genre that is usually suitable for the family, both old and young. For example, every year during the Spring Festival and National Day holiday, I take my parents out for a film, and I usually choose comedies. I think we would all be able to appreciate comedies, and its atmosphere suits that of the holidays.

Why do people of all ages like cartoons?

This question reminds me of Disney cartoons. Indeed, people of all ages enjoy going to Disneyland. I think because cartoons are easy to watch and comprehend. You don’t have to use a lot of brain capacity to understand a cartoon. The emotions are not difficult to comprehend, and the story is moving. What’s more, usually the drawings and the characters are beautiful as well. Cartoons are especially suitable for parents with young children.

Why do some people like to make others laugh?

It’s their way of interacting with others, especially the outgoing ones. In primary school, I think there are a lot of boys who like to make their friends or girls in the class laugh by cracking jokes or making  funny faces. Ifs an easy way to communicate, because when people laugh, it means that they are happy or amused. Of course, I think there shouldn ^‘ t be much problem as long as the joke doesn ^‘ t go overboard.

Should teachers tell jokes in class?

That depends on the content of the joke. A good teacher should be acutely aware of which jokes to tell, and which not. In order to alleviate study pressure, such as in Senior Three classrooms, jokes are needed, but only the appropriate ones. Some of the popular jokes are quite crude and not suitable for either young people to hear or teachers to tell.
