4 “What do whales feel? 5 “The effects of light on plant and animal species” 、剑桥复习资料7 “Endless Harvest 等等,都与动物计划护有着千丝万缕的联系。

Part One / Part Three

1. Do you like or dislike animals? Why?
2. Do Chinese like or dislike animals? Why?
3. How to preserve the animals?
4. What animals can people see in China?
5. What is the most famous animal in China?
6. What is the role of animal in China?
7. What is your view on keeping pets? (Advantages and disadvantages)
8. What are the characteristics of different animals?
9. Do you have a pet?
10. What do Chinese think about keeping pets?

Example
Do you like animals?
“Well, to be honest, in general I would say that I’m actually quite keen on animals, but in particular I would probably have to say that I’m really into domestic pets like dogs, I guess the reason why I’m a fan of dogs is because I adore their loyalty and companionship. In addition to dogs I suppose I’m also pretty passionate about endangered species, especially dolphins and things like that and this is due to the fact that I feel some degree of responsibility toward wildlife protection.”
I’m fairly/pretty keen on…
I’m really into…
I’m quite a big fan of…
I simply adore…
I’m quite enthusiastic about…
I’m quite fond of…
I’m totally mad about…
I’m really passionate about…
I’m not so keen on…
I’m not much of a fan of…
I’m not really into…
I’m not really that fond of…
I totally detest…
I really can’t stand…
I absolutely loathe…
Part 2
Describe an animal that can be found in your country
You should say:

What type of animal it is
Where it can be found
Whether you have seen it

What other people think of this animal.

Golden haired monkey, South China tiger, brown-eared pheasant, white-flag dolphin, Chinese alligator, red-crowned crane, giant panda and so on.

1.深呼一口气,放松;
2.分析该用什么时态进行陈述,写下来用以提醒自己;
3.想好整体架构,准备陈述哪几点,写下key words;

Past Tense + Present Tense
Four Answers to the Four Questions
National symbol     endangered species
Natural reserve      Panda Sanctuary

Well, when it comes to an animal that can be found in my country, I’d like to select the commonly known giant panda which is the national symbol of China.

You know, because it is an endangered species, it lives mostly in protected nature reserves in central western and south western China. A recent report shows that there are only 239 Giant Pandas living in captivity inside China and another 27 outside the country, so it is also possible to see them in zoos around the world.

Actually I visited the Panda’s Sanctuary in Chengdu 3 years ago while I was traveling in Sichuan Province. I’ve seen the pandas thousands of times from TV shows or pictures, but this was my first time to actually see them with my own eyes which was really fantastic, wow.

I guess most Chinese people like pandas, because they are so cute, like you know the round face, black eye patches, and bear-like body shape. When people see the pandas always can not help but start to adore the lovely creature. Besides, some people would feel some sense of patrioti* towards the giant panda sine it is recognized globally the archetypal animal of China.
