40. 想获得的奖

Well, lately I’ve been watching a TV show called “Chinese Poetry Congress”. It offers lots of different awards to compe*s on the show and the audience. Honestly, I would love to win something from that TV show. I love Chinese poems, so this competition really interested me.

This program judges compe*s to see who knows and has memorized the most Chinese poems. The participants are between five and seventy years old. It also includes foreigners. The main goal is to beat the other opponents and win the huge prize. The show is so popular because audiences can also participate. They can win prizes by playing the game through a cell phone app.

According to the rules, I can win a prize if I answer 10 questions correctly. If I remember right, the prize is a certificate of honor204 and a fancy copper bookmark. I really like Chinese poems and literary traditions. So I could probably get 10 correct answers. But I also need to prepare for some poems I’m not familiar with.

Actually, it’s not about winning. But it’ll be a great recognition of my knowledge if I can win this award. Of course, if I win this award, I’ll try to win the bigger ones. Maybe I can even enter the top 10 final ranks205, which would be amazing.
